Bankcard Attrition model


TrueNorth (TN) developed a credit card attrition model that takes into consideration the profit associated with the attriting account and gives the issuer enough time to take action to prevent closing the account.

Using a Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS) algorithm, the issuer was able to target 24% of the population with anti-attrition tactics and reach 88% of the profitable attritors.

Internet provider database & forecast


TrueNorth (TN) designed and developed a time series performance database in SAS, capturing application and billing performance data.  The  database supported a suite of monthly performance reports.  

In addition we profiled and analyzed churn characteristics of  the customer and developed a 3 year forecast forward of the portfolio by credit score band. Sensitivity analysis provided the customer with different forecast scenarios.
